Normal life in Lalitpur district has been crippled since early Friday morning due to the bandh called by Jyapu Samaj.Jyapu Samaj called Lalitpur bandh today protesting against the murder of Roji Maharjan and demanding action against the guilty.Maharjan was last week murdered by her friend Subash Upreti who hired hitmen to kill her.Transportation has come to a grinding halt and entire market areas, academic institutions have been shut down due to the bandh.Meanwhile, Jyapu Samaj and Newa Samaj took out a rally from various parts of Lalitpur including Gabahal, Damkal Chowk, Pulchowk, Gwarko, Mangalbazaar, Langankhel, against the murder this morning.The agitators vandalised 10 vehciles for defying strike this morning, including a micro bus (Ba 1 Kha 5775) at Kharibot, Balkumari, a private car and two motorcycles in Lagankhel, sources confirmed.21 year old Maharjan of Jawalakhel was shot in the temple and her body was recovered from a bush near the incident site.
