As part of its 10th annual celebration of Teej, Women’s Creation Centre (WCC) is organising the 10th Dabur Special Teej Festival 2011 from July 28-31 July at the Direction Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) which is located at the United World Trade Centre (UWTC).
Teej, a festival commemorating women that is celebrated throughout the country, falls around the months of August to early September every year. The festival of feminine revelry, dance and songs is marked particularly by a red wardrobe and accessorising ornaments as women fast throughout the day. Bearing the importance of empowerment for women, WCC has launched this exhibition hoping to create business opportunities for the women it supports.
