The Nepal Olympic Museum (NOM), the one and only Sports museum of Nepal, on Tuesday announced its plan to craft various half-sized statues of nine all-time athletes of the country.
NOM President Tshitiz Arun Shrestha said in the first phase of the plan statues of athletes, including, Bidhan Lama (former takewondo player), Sabita Rajbhandari ( former taekwondo player), Deepak Bista (taekwondo), Baikuntha Manandhar (former athlete), Jit Bahadur KC (former athlete), Sangina Vaidya (former taekwondo player), Late Dal Bahadur Ranamagar (boxer), Ganesh Thapa (former footballer) and Late Nara Shumsher JB Rana (football official), will be crafted.
